EverHaven
Web Accessibility
OUR COMMITMENT
What we believe
EverHaven was built around a single belief: remove every barrier between families and a great camping experience. That belief doesn’t stop at the campground gate. It applies to our website, our booking process, and every digital interaction a guest has with us.
We are actively working to ensure our Site conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. We test regularly, take feedback seriously, and treat accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a completed project.
We also encourage every third-party vendor whose tools appear on our Site to meet or exceed these same standards.
DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY
Designed to work for everyone
We design and develop our Site with the following accessibility principles built in:
⌨️ Keyboard Navigation — Every page, link, and form on our Site can be reached and used with a keyboard alone — no mouse required.
🔍 Screen Reader Compatible — We use semantic HTML, descriptive alt text on images, and ARIA labels throughout the Site to ensure content is readable by screen reader software.
🎨 Color Contrast — Text and interactive elements are designed to meet or exceed the minimum contrast ratios required by WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
📱 Responsive on All Devices — The Site adapts to all screen sizes and zoom levels — from desktop monitors to mobile phones — without losing content or functionality.
🎥 Reduced Motion Support — We respect your browser’s “prefers-reduced-motion” setting and limit animations and transitions accordingly.
🔠 Text Resizing — Text throughout the Site can be resized up to 200% using browser settings without loss of content or functionality.
TECHNICAL STANDARD
WCAG 2.1 Level AA
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our target standard. WCAG 2.1 AA is the internationally recognized benchmark for accessible digital experiences and is the standard most commonly referenced by the ADA and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
The four principles of WCAG 2.1
Perceivable — Information is presented in ways all users can perceive, regardless of sensory ability. · Operable — All navigation and controls can be operated by any user. · Understandable — Content and interface behavior are clear and predictable. · Robust — Content works reliably across current and future assistive technologies.
We assess our Site’s conformance through a combination of self-evaluation at launch, recurring automated testing against WCAG 2.1 specifications, and ongoing feedback from guests. We welcome reports of any accessibility barrier you encounter.

Technologies we test with
Our Site is built and tested for compatibility with current versions of all major browsers and the following assistive technologies:
NVDA (Windows screen reader)
JAWS (Windows screen reader)
VoiceOver (macOS & iOS)
TalkBack (Android)
Dragon NaturallySpeaking (voice control)
Windows Magnifier
macOS Zoom
High Contrast Mode (Windows)
Our Site may not function correctly on legacy browsers (Internet Explorer 6–8, or browsers more than two major versions behind current release) or in non-standard configurations with conflicting custom extensions.
AT OUR CAMPGROUNDS
Accessible experiences, on the ground
Accessibility needs vary from guest to guest — and our campgrounds vary too. We want you to have complete, accurate information before you arrive, so you can plan with confidence.
When you contact us about a specific property, we can tell you exactly what’s available, including:
ADA-accessible campsites, cabins, and lodging units
Accessible restrooms, shower facilities, and laundry areas
Paved or compacted accessible pathways between key amenities
Accessible parking near check-in, restrooms, and recreation areas
Accommodations for service animals
Accessible picnic areas, gathering spaces, and fire rings
Availability of specific features varies by property. We encourage you to contact our team or the specific campground before booking to confirm the accommodations that matter most to you.
YOUR FEEDBACK MATTERS
Tell us what we can improve
If something on our Site or at one of our properties is not working for you, we want to know. We review every accessibility report personally and aim to respond within 2 business days. Confirmed issues will be resolved within 30 days, where feasible.
Share your experience
Email us with a description of the barrier you encountered, the page or feature involved, and the device and assistive technology you were using. Or use our contact form — whichever is easier.
